By connecting a SIGMA Art, Contemporary, or Sports lens to a computer with the SIGMA USB DOCK, photographers can update the lens firmware and adjust focus position and other parameters. Exclusive SIGMA Optimization Pro software makes customization easy. It is possible to select the autofocus speed and adjust the focus limiter and Optical Stabilizer (OS) function.

The adjustment is processed with special software (SIGMA Optimization Pro). The AF speed, focus limiter and OS function are also customizable for Sports lenses. Requires the Sigma Optimization Pro Software and Windows 7 / 8 or Mac OS X Ver 10.7 or 10.8 and Intel Core Processor. USB Dock Compatibility Chart: Compatible for use with the following. This is to inform that the SIGMA Photo Pro 6.5.4 for Macintosh is not compatible with the Mac OS X 10.13 (High Sierra), which is newly released by Apple. At the moment, we are working on the development of the SIGMA Photo Pro 6.5.5 for Macintosh. Once the compatible software becomes available, we are going to make further announcement. Sigma Chess is a freeware, master strength Macintosh chess program for Mac OS X.

Updating Lens Firmware
It is possible to update the lens firmware via the internet.

Focus Setting
Multiple focus setting options are available: 4 categories for fixed focal length lenses, and 16 categories (4 options for focal length) x (4 options for shooting distance) for zoom lenses.

Full-time MF Setting*
It is possible to adjust the timing to operate the Full-time MF function by customizing how much rotation of the focus ring is required.
